Dr. Pred brings the unusual benefit of degrees in speech pathology and learning disorders to the team at PTI. She received a Master’s Degree from the University of Denver and a PhD from the University of Colorado. The focus of her doctoral dissertation was narrative comprehension in language delayed children. From this research several therapeutic techniques were developed. Dr. Pred also holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, Colorado Type E Certification and a Colorado State License. More than 30 years of experience in schools, hospitals and clinics contribute to Dr. Pred’s holistic approach to therapy. Her practice focuses on children on the autism spectrum, those with articulation issues, developmental language delays and dyslexia. Additionally, Dr. Pred has taught at U.C.D., published an R-Articulation Therapy Program and is a sought-after speaker on issues related to the treatment of speech and learning disorders. She is a member of the American and Colorado Speech/Language and Hearing Associations as well as the International Dyslexia Association.
